BóLè Tech Investor Forum in Hong Kong
In partnership with the Chicago Booth Angels Network (CBAN) of Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area, the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is proud to present the BóLè Tech Investor Forum, a one-day event on Friday, March 8, 2019. The BóLè Forum will bring UChicago and Booth alumni, as well as local and Chinese investors, together in Hong Kong to discuss the PE/VC landscape in Asia and how successful investors approach new deals and support their entrepreneurs. This elite gathering will feature an afternoon of intensive learning and networking with early investors of Airbnb, Alibaba, Ctrip, Dianping, Grab, Meitu, and Xiaomi. John Tsang, Hong Kong’s former and longest-serving Financial Secretary, will be the closing keynote.

The Story of BóLè (伯樂相馬):
The Forum’s name, BóLè, is inspired by an old Chinese idiom. It signifies visionary who possesses sharp eyes for talent (before anyone else) and who empowers such talent with the guidance and the opportunities to flourish — qualities that we want to find, celebrate and harness at the Chicago Booth Angels Network. At the inaugural BóLè Forum, we have invited an exclusive group of BóLè from around the world to Hong Kong this spring.
