The Compass deep tech accelerator, launched in 2020, is a four-and-a-half-month accelerator program designed to serve faculty, researchers, and scientists of the University of Chicago, Argonne, Fermilab, and the Marine Biological Lab. It supports technologies in four key verticals: Data Science, Life Sciences, Materials Science, and Quantum. Additionally, the Compass includes participants of the Lab Innovation Fellowship program, which provides entrepreneurial education to scientists of the National Laboratories.
