Alumni New Venture Challenge (ANVC) Finals

Join us for the finals of the second annual Alumni New Venture Challenge (ANVC), the only track of the Edward L. Kaplan,’71, New Venture Challenge that serves entrepreneurial UChicago alumni from around the globe. Top teams from the six participating regions (Europe, Asia, Latin America, East Coast, West Coast, Midwest) will be pitching for investment.
Throughout the day, the ANVC finalists will present to a panel of judges comprising of top investors, entrepreneurs, and others. Prizes include cash prizes and in-kind services, such as legal and professional consulting services. The NVC is a top-ranked U.S. accelerator program and this year marks the 23rd anniversary of the larger program.
This event is open to all members of the UChicago community and the public. Space will be available on a first come, first served basis. The day will culminate with a reception and awards announcement.
This event is part of UChicago Innovation Fest 2020, a month-long celebration of pioneering discovery and entrepreneurial endeavors at the University of Chicago. Organized by the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the series of events, workshops and accelerator programs, including the globally recognized Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge, highlights the breadth and impact of innovation at UChicago in the areas of entrepreneurship and research commercialization, scientific advancements, and social and global impact.
