Advising with Polsky IIR Ken O’Keefe, MBA ’93

Polsky Investor-in-Residence Ken O’Keefe, MBA ’91, will be taking meetings with students interested in private equity, the healthcare industry, and healthcare entrepreneurship. Slots are 30 minutes.

Ken O’Keefe, cofounded Beecken Petty O’Keefe & Company in 1996. BPOC is a middle-market private equity firm with $1.5 billion under management. The firm invests in the healthcare industry and is currently investing its fifth fund. 

O’Keefe has served on a number of private and public company boards and currently serves on the boards of Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc., himagine solutions, Inc. and OurHealth, LLC. O’Keefe is a trustee and former chairman of the board of trustees of Marillac/St. Vincent Family Services, a member of the steering committee of the Chicago Community Trust LGBT Fund, a trustee of Camillus Health Concern, and a member of the advisory board of the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago.

Ken received a BA degree in economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in finance from Chicago Booth.
