23rd Annual Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge Finals
Join the Polsky Center for the finals of the 23rd annual Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge (NVC). Throughout the day, the NVC finalists will present to a panel of judges comprising of top investors, entrepreneurs, and others. Prizes – which include cash prizes and in-kind services, such as legal and professional consulting services, and office space – have helped past NVC winners like GrubHub, Tovala, Foxtrot, and Simple Mills grow into successful businesses. The NVC is a top-ranked U.S. accelerator program and this year marks the 23rd anniversary of the program. This event is open to all members of the UChicago community and the public.
Space will be available on a first come, first served basis. No laptops will be allowed into the presentation room, and the student lounge on the first floor of the Harper Center will be available as an overflow room with an HD live-stream of the finals.
