UChicago Deep Tech Demo Day to Spotlight 22 Emerging Ventures During TechChicago Week

The event will showcase next-generation deep tech ventures working across quantum and hardtech, healthcare, and data and AI.

The Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation today announced the startups that will present at the upcoming UChicago Deep Tech Demo Day, taking place during TechChicago Week.

The event will provide attendees with an opportunity to explore new investment opportunities, learn how deep tech is reshaping industries, and engage with a diverse community of founders, investors, corporate leaders, researchers, and technology partners.

The program will open with a fireside discussion moderated by Jeremie Bacon, managing partner at Izou Partners and cofounder of George Adventure Parks, featuring Chris Gladwin, founder and executive chairman of Ocient, board chair and cofounder of P33, and founder of The Forge Parks. The conversation will explore the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of deep tech innovation and commercialization.

Attendees will then hear live pitches from emerging ventures spanning three broad areas: quantum and hardtech, healthcare, and data and AI. Following presentations, there will be an extended networking reception designed to create connections among founders, investors, corporate leaders, researchers, and others across the innovation ecosystem.

  • Slideflow Labs // Slideflow Labs provides hospitals with a single platform to discover, develop, and deploy pathology AI biomarkers in-house, replacing slow, expensive send-out testing and turning pathology labs into revenue centers.
